This Privacy Policy explains how CRAVATE LLC ("CRAVATE", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the CRAVATE mobile application (the "App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data transparently. By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.

4. AI Processing and Third-Party Services

To generate recommendations, the photographs, descriptions, or store links you submit are processed by our third-party artificial intelligence provider. Store links may be retrieved through a third-party retrieval service. We also rely on trusted third parties for cloud hosting and storage, and for subscription management. These providers act on our behalf and are permitted to use your information only to provide their services to us, not for their own purposes.

The service providers we rely on include our AI processing provider (Anthropic), our cloud hosting and storage provider (Supabase), a link retrieval provider (ScraperAPI), and our subscription and platform providers (Apple and RevenueCat). Some of these providers are located in the United States.

5. International Data Transfers

CRAVATE is based in the United States, and the service providers we use may process and store data in the United States and other countries. If you access the App from the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or elsewhere outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, for these transfers.

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time directly within the App, under Profile. When you delete your account, your stored information and images are removed. You may also contact us at support@mycravate.com to exercise any of these rights. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.

8. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request deletion of your personal information, and to correct inaccurate information. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. You will not be discriminated against for exercising your rights. To make a request, contact support@mycravate.com or use the in-App account deletion option.

9. Data Retention

We keep your information only for as long as needed to provide the App and for legitimate business or legal purposes. When you delete your account, we remove your associated stored data. Some limited information may be retained where required by law or for security and fraud prevention.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including access controls and secure, reputable infrastructure providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The App is not intended for anyone under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide notice within the App. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
